The Australian government has no wish to recall or commemorate a time when masks went on and some came off.

That is my suspicion as well.

The Australian response was disgraceful, and it is understanderble that they would like to forget it. But as the article says we must learn from past mistakes, not sweep it under the carpet. So many aspects need looking at. Constitutional reform ? Vacine safety? Public health fascists? The Cult of the Expert ? Descision making in general ? Censorship ? Human rights ? I could go on but I wont.

Thanks Kreg for reading and for the comment. I think there's a real opportunity here to raise these important issues by pushing for this commemoration/memorial. At the heart of all of our efforts is to be heard, not censored, particularly those physically harmed by the "vaccines", mandates and isolation policies of successive governments. A very public commemoration/memorial will raise these important questions in ways that simple posting in our echo chambers will not.

Great comment, Kreg! You have listed seven issues about which I now have a totally different understanding to that which I just naively assumed before the onset of the Covid crisis in 2020. ‘Public health fascists’ Is an excellent way of describing the incompetent self-serving liars who constitute the government bureaucracies in Australia.

A major offender that is missing from your list - and arguably the worst - are the collective of liars of the corporate media - the people who deliberately engaged in mass deception to induce fear and panic, and to this day refuse to expose the truth about how the Covid virus came into existence, the pre-planning that took place by powerful entities beforehand, and the ongoing surge in mortality and unusual illness that followed the rollout of the experimental mRNA genetic injectables. The people who run and work in the corporate media in Australia are nothing but contemptible deceivers, and the organisations that employ them deserve the massive collapse in market value that has befallen them - as outlined recently in the Australian Senate.

Agreed. But the actions of the "ordinary" apathetic people who did nothing when push came to shove who would rather pretend that it's simply time to move on from this now. They need to reflect too.
